26/05/2008 Ch 8 变奏曲 of the episode had a sad ending. it ended at a balcony where 3 good frens usually gathered. With photos showing the time they shared. but now, with one of them dead which is caused by many complicated links.

Followed by the poem read by 向云 which i read about it on the nxt day in the paper, which is about the 四川 earthquake which took away children from their parents.

Lastly, today's movie, indiana jones (theres one sentence which is something like tat: as u aged, things start to be taken, instead of receiving).

Thoughts:
It is true that as we aged, we will slowly lose some of the things ard us. But for our age now, we are still receiving more than things being taken away. So, most of the ppl are still enjoying as there wasn't any major setback that has yet to cross their path; i'm most of them. But its time to realise.

The time will come for everyone, when close person starts to walk out of ur life and what u had were memories. Maybe thats why u can see a lot of elderlies sitting down and staring into blank spaces when there are nth to occupy their time. Or maybe, they are just resting ... ...

Time will flow, carrying us - ppl on sampans w/o paddle - with the flow, occasionally bumping into different ppl along the way and no way of moving against it. Start to cherish things if had not done so. But things wont always go according to plans.

We can only amend things by spending more time into it and will never be able to reverse the things done (cuz what done is done).

15th may
initially wanted to go swimming with sis but the sky was cloudy. so we head towards town as i also needed to settle my citizenship stuff. Happy to settle this thing which was like 2 yrs already, den shop at town till nite. =]

and get to noe that shilin oyster mee sua is finally back !!!

16th may
went for nite cycling which started off at ard 945 from boonlay with allen and wj towards the "famous" jw canal where cmy and seow joined in. link up with kel and sl at je library before we ride away on our journey. its a long journey, where we went to west coast and stopping at haw par villa where we were thinking of climbing in but the "Dogs on Guard" sign made us retreat. we carried on to Labrador park and went up the hill to have a look.
we head vivo after that, but half way thru. my bike tire burst and seow "sacrificied" the nite of fun and took a cab home with his beloved bike. with seow gone, we carried on riding to sentosa. there was a slope in sentosa so steep tat we are like going at 30-40km/h. it was fun. lucky nothing happened. haha... its already 5am and we started travelling back. A tiring, enjoyable, butt pain staking nite. =D

17th may
rest home saturday

18th may
Family Zoo day !!!

19th may
went changi for briefing for our new job which they called us at 2pm and wanted us to arrived at changi terminal 2 at 3pm.

20th - 22nd may
working: fun, students now are different from students in the past.
regent sec 3, to changi airport, after tat went to watch las vegas at the cathay with *Family.
beatty sec 2, singapore river amazing race, went JB after that, things are cheap over there !!!
montfort sec 2, singapore flyer, nv get to experience it. zZz ...

new experience. tho the pay earned is not equivalent to the effort paid out.

Happy Mother's Day

it's mother's day today. slept till late morning den went to IMM to collect the flowers that we had ordered. to preserve the freshness of the carnations (康乃馨), we went for lunch and started shopping ard the area. haha ... playing at the changing room in one of the shops.

when dinner time was near, we went to collect the nice bouquet of flower and headed to west mall for a nice dinner at mayim. she was so surprised upon seeing the bouquet of flowers after so many yrs. =D
as the place was told that it was fully booked, we went there to have an early dinner at 5. The queue was looooooong when we left. Ordered alot of food, the carrot cake and 神户牛肉 was good. ordered the 猪脚醋, it taste the SAME as my mum's cooking lah (a lot of vinegar); it's sweeter and not tat nice. we had a very full dinner.
One full day spent. =]

sem end exam is a pain in the ass when did not study for the 1st 3 months and doing work consistently. however, this trend had not been broken since sec sch. haha ... learning things only during study period ... XD (mus try to change the habit). Summarising and practices will do the job. =]

exam has finally came to an end !!! Let's have fun!


ironman a very nice movie. tony seow: "i am ironman (who cares bout script, i tell the truth)."
since exam is over, went on to play lan till morning. Dota, as usual, dying is a piece of cake. haha ... CS more fun. "McGriffin" not tat nice.
